Trauma, Coping & Growth Lab

Our lab is designed to study the unique nature of repeated traumatic exposure and its relation to brain mechanisms, behavior, and functioning. We challenge the traditional approach, which distinguishes health from illness, and aim to explore a wider and more complicated range of trauma consequences.

This is done while trying to identify and predict different trajectories of repeated traumatic exposure and develop possible interventions for individuals before and after traumatic exposure.
